I’m Jessica. The creator behind Peculiar Pendant, designing and hand‑making every pair of earrings here in Fort Worth, Texas. I am sure you noticed the word "we" a lot on this page. While I am the sole designer, my husband puts in his time helping me plan, set up at craft fairs, etc. We truly are an incredible team, and any excuse to spend time together is a win.
I pull inspiration from the world around me: colors, textures, tiny objects, random moments, and anything that makes me pause and think, that would make a great earring, or can I actually make this into an earring? If it can be drilled into, shaped, or turned into something wearable, I’m probably already experimenting with it.
What started as a simple love for making earrings into my own style quickly grew into a passion for creating pieces that help people express themselves boldly, playfully, or however they feel that day. I make earrings for the ones who want their accessories to have personality, not perfection; character, not conformity. My taglines are "Be You, Be Unique" and "Express Your Weird".
Some pieces become everyday staples, others are just for the moment, and both matter. If something sparks joy or feels like a tiny piece of self‑expression, that’s reason enough to wear it.
